Policy

Acceptable Use Policy

The content rules for every Vidoro AI generator. Six categories of content are prohibited, listed in full below. These rules cover the current templates and anything added later, and they are part of the Terms of Service.

This policy applies to all current and future AI generation, transformation and editing features on Vidoro — including AI video, image generation, image-to-video, reference-to-video, identity transformation, face swap, character replacement and any other AI tools added later.

Prohibited content at a glance

  1. 01Sexual and NSFW Content
  2. 02Violence, Gore and Cruel Harm
  3. 03Hate and Hateful Conduct
  4. 04Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation / CSAM
  5. 05Deepfakes, Impersonation and Deceptive Identity Use
  6. 06Copyright and Trademark Infringement

The six categories below are independent and explicit. Using Vidoro for any unlawful purpose is also prohibited, and the rules apply to generation requests, uploaded photos and generated outputs alike.

01Sexual and NSFW Content

Prohibited

  • pornography
  • explicit sexual activity
  • non-consensual intimate imagery
  • exploitative sexual content

Vidoro prohibits generating sexual or sexually explicit content of any kind, including content that sexualizes real people, content that a depicted person has not consented to, and content created to exploit or coerce anyone.

02Violence, Gore and Cruel Harm

Prohibited

  • graphic violence
  • gore
  • mutilation
  • torture
  • severe injury
  • cruel or sadistic harm
  • glorification or encouragement of serious physical violence

Vidoro prohibits using its AI generation tools to create, transform, or promote graphic or gratuitous depictions of violence, gore, mutilation, torture, severe physical injury, cruelty, or other disturbing scenes of serious harm.

Users must not use Vidoro to generate content that:

  • depicts graphic blood, gore, dismemberment, mutilation, or exposed severe injuries;
  • depicts or glorifies torture, cruelty, execution, or extreme physical abuse;
  • creates realistic scenes of severe injury or death intended primarily to shock, horrify, or sensationalize;
  • encourages, celebrates, or meaningfully facilitates serious physical violence against another person or group;
  • depicts sadistic or cruel harm to people or animals;
  • transforms otherwise benign uploaded media into graphic violent or gory imagery.

Non-graphic, non-inciting material may still be allowed — for example fictional action, mild non-graphic conflict, or historical or educational discussion — but such content must not become graphic, gory, sadistic, or promotional of real-world serious harm.

03Hate and Hateful Conduct

Prohibited

  • hateful attacks
  • dehumanization
  • discriminatory abuse
  • advocacy of violence against protected groups

Vidoro prohibits content that attacks, dehumanizes or promotes hatred against people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, caste, sexual orientation, gender identity or other protected characteristics.

04Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation / CSAM

Prohibited

  • CSAM
  • sexualized minors
  • child exploitation
  • grooming-related content
  • transformations intended to sexualize minors

Vidoro has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material and the exploitation of minors. Any content that sexualizes, exploits or endangers a minor is prohibited without exception, including attempts to make a depicted person appear younger. Violations are reported to the appropriate authorities.

05Deepfakes, Impersonation and Deceptive Identity Use

Prohibited

  • unauthorized impersonation
  • deceptive deepfakes
  • fraud
  • harassment
  • reputational harm
  • misleading synthetic media presented as authentic

Vidoro allows consensual and lawful creative use of a person's own likeness or authorized media. Using the tools to impersonate someone without authorization, to fabricate statements or endorsements they never made, or to pass synthetic media off as authentic is prohibited.

Additional Prohibited Uses

Beyond the six content standards above, Vidoro prohibits using the service:

  • for unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, or abusive conduct;
  • to create phishing material, malware, malicious code, credential theft content, or facilitate cyberattacks;
  • to bypass, probe, evade, or defeat safety and abuse-prevention systems;
  • to resell or provide unauthorized automated access to Vidoro's generation infrastructure;
  • to scrape or systematically harvest generated outputs at abusive scale;
  • to use Vidoro outputs or service access to improperly clone, extract, distill, or train a competing model where prohibited by applicable rights or service rules;
  • to falsely present AI-generated material as professional medical, legal, financial, or other regulated professional advice;
  • to conduct fraud, scams, impersonation, or deceptive commercial activity.

These rules target abuse, not legitimate activity: good-faith security research, education, fictional discussion and reporting of violations are not prohibited by this section.

Before you upload: rights and consent

Upload only images you took, own or are explicitly licensed to use. Every real person in an uploaded photo must be an adult (18 or older) and must have agreed to appear in the generated video. Uploading photos of people who have not consented, or of minors, is prohibited.

Do not try to defeat or probe the content checks run by Vidoro or its providers — for example by editing, filtering or captioning images to slip past review, or by scripting abusive volumes of attempts.

Moderation and automated review

Vidoro and its AI service providers may use automated safety and abuse-prevention systems to review generation requests, uploaded media and generated outputs. Requests involving prohibited violent, gory or cruel-harm content may be blocked, rejected or otherwise prevented from completing. A generation that the provider refuses on policy or technical grounds is treated like any failed generation: the held credit is returned automatically, and no video is delivered.

Requests may be blocked, rejected or failed for safety, content review or provider policy checks. Not every request is reviewed by a human, automated safety systems are not perfect, and Vidoro does not operate a 24/7 human moderation team.

Enforcement

When this policy is violated, Vidoro may take one or more actions depending on severity and history:

  • block generation
  • reject media
  • disable results
  • restrict generation access
  • suspend accounts
  • terminate accounts
  • refuse service
  • respond to valid rights-holder complaints
  • preserve relevant records where required
  • cooperate with lawful authorities where legally required

For severe or repeated violent or abusive violations, Vidoro may take immediate action, including suspension or termination. Where termination is for a policy violation, any remaining credit balance may be forfeited.

Reporting Violations

Users, rights holders, affected individuals, and members of the public may report suspected violations of this Acceptable Use Policy by email at: support@vidoro.io

This includes violent or gory generated content that breaks these rules, someone using your photos without consent, and any other violation. A useful report includes:

  • the relevant Vidoro result URL, page URL, or task identifier;
  • a description of the suspected violation;
  • the relevant policy category;
  • enough context for Vidoro to identify and review the report.

You do not need to send a passport, ID card, or unnecessary private data to submit a report.

Reports involving suspected child sexual abuse material receive special handling: do not download, reproduce, save, attach, or forward suspected CSAM in order to make a report. Instead, provide only the relevant URL or identifying information. Vidoro maintains zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material.

What Happens After a Report Is Submitted

After receiving a report, Vidoro may:

  1. identify the relevant result, task, account or record;
  2. review the available information against the Acceptable Use Policy;
  3. consider available automated safety signals and provider information;
  4. temporarily restrict access where appropriate while reviewing serious reports;
  5. request additional information from the reporter where necessary;
  6. take enforcement action when a violation is confirmed;
  7. preserve relevant records when reasonably required for safety, fraud prevention, rights-holder claims or legal compliance;
  8. close the report without enforcement when no policy violation is found.

Vidoro does not promise a fixed review time, manual review of every report, or a 24/7 moderation team.

Vidoro may update this policy as risks and the law evolve. The version on this page always applies, with the revision date shown above. Questions: support@vidoro.io.
